KHM Travel Agent Training
As a new travel agent with KHM, you will enter our Career Development Program whereby we will help you learn exactly what you will need to successfully and professionally represent yourself as a travel agent. KHM has three initial required courses: New Agent Orientation, Promoting Your Agency, and Travel Agent Basics 101. Each course is conducted by a trained professional with years of industry experience. It doesn't end here, but rather begins. We have an extensive Video Learning Library that will give you access to some of the best training's the industry has to offer. KHM agents are encouraged to continue their education through programs offered by CLIA, ASTA and the Travel Institute.
As an agent, we encourage each agent to develop a relationship with our many suppliers. As you do, you will be notified by these suppliers of various savings opportunities as well as FAM trips and other education opportunities. Of course, you will also be able to earn commissions on your personal travel too. Read our Frequently Asked Question page.
New to the travel industry? No problem! KHM Travel provides access for all our agent to our new and proprietary Lead Generation System. This is a great way to jump start your new business and get commissions rolling in.
While our compensation plan is unparalleled, our service is at an even higher level as we are fully committed to supporting you. KHM Travel Group will be there for you and can help you develop a marketing plan, further your education, and alert you to special commission bonuses and travel offers.

We provide you with your own private labeled web site. These web sites are coded with your unique travel agent identification number. This allows your prospects to search through thousands of vacations, tours and cruises. When they select their desired trip, all of their information is transmitted electronically to you. Our agents are then able to verify their information, make additional recommendations, upsell the trip and add trip insurance. Our new and updated web sites give the the flexibility to create a custom banner or choose one of our standard banners, add additional pages, customize those pages, add photos, links, and text. Plus you can change the fonts and colors of your travel web site.
We provide a state-of-the-art password-protected online office where you can access everything you need to start, run and manage your travel business. It is here where you will access our entire system including our preferred supplier database, training systems, marketing support center, commission tracking, forms, FAQ section and more!

Our Online Campus is an Internet delivered "on demand" travel education program that allows you to study at your convenience so you don't have to take time away from your productive days. Experts have created a diverse curriculum of interactive web-based lessons to provide you with the knowledge and/or skills necessary to begin and succeed in the exciting world of travel. The material presented in each of our courses is designed for anyone entering the travel industry or in need of taking some continuous educational training.
How do you distinguish yourself from the competitor? One way is to advance your professional knowledge through curriculum offered by the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) and The Travel Institute. KHM Travel’s members are also encouraged to participate in educational programs that combine online and home study, familiarization trips and hands-on destination specialist training developed by experts from the respective tourist boards.
KHM Travel’s value-added role is to gather the information about official travel industry training opportunities and communicate it to our members through email announcements and KHM Travel’s “Agents Only” Extranet. Our Agent Services department also hosts daily conference calls for members interested in learning more about tour and vacation sales, advance cruise sales, marketing and technology. These sessions also include participation by our incredibly supportive preferred supplier partners..
Coming this May is our new community center. Here you will be able to chat with other agents, request and get support, access our private community bulletin board and access our private training rooms.
