Exclusive Travel Agent Training
After you decide to become a trave agent it all begins with our "Getting Started - New Agent Training. This is a step-by-step training system that takes the new agent through our system and how we operate. It covers setting up your new travel business and getting yourself ready to "be in business". This is followed by Promoting Your Agency. Here we will show you how to begin to brand your business and begin to build your clientele. The final module in the series is "Travel Agent Basics 101". It's in this video where we will out line the basics you will need to begin getting quotes and then making reservations.

Don't Get Scared
We have agents that join at 10:00 AM and are making reservations at 2:00 PM. Our initial training is just enough to help you feel comfortable making basic reservations. You can then expand your knowledge base as you have time.

Our Online-Campus is an Internet delivered "on-demand" travel education program that allows you to study at your convenience so you don't have to take time away from your productive days. Experts have created a diverse curriculum of interactive web-based lessons to provide you with the knowledge and/or skills necessary to begin and succeed in the exciting world of travel. The material presented in each of our courses is designed for anyone entering the travel industry or in need of taking some continuous educational training.

How do you distinguish yourself from the competitor? One way is to advance your professional knowledge through curriculum offered by the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) and The Travel Institute. KHM Travel’s members are also encouraged to participate in educational programs that combine online and home study, familiarization trips and hands-on destination specialist training developed by experts from the respective tourist boards. As an agent with us, you have access to resources like Travel Agent University. Here you can learn from dozens of supplier and destination trainings.

KHM Travel’s value-added role is to gather the information about official travel industry training opportunities and communicate it to our members through email announcements and KHM Travel’s “Agents Only” Extranet. Our Agent Services department also hosts frequent conference calls for members interested in learning more about tour and vacation sales, advance cruise sales, marketing and technology. These sessions also include participation by our incredibly supportive preferred supplier partners..
